At Volvo Group Trucks Technology Electromobility, we are currently looking for a senior Simulation and Analysis Engineer to be part of a team working with system simulation & digital twins of electric driveline & Volvo Group Electromobility products.
What do we do? 

We are a System Simulation team in Electromobility, a dynamic team in the forefront of digital transformation working with data, simulations & digital twins to provide world-class solutions for electromobility systems and delivering customer values for Volvo business units.

Electromobility is one of the fast-growing and main development areas within Volvo Group, which is at the forefront of sustainable transport solutions for tomorrow.

What will you do? 
You along with the team will be responsible for system simulation platform & model development for battery electric vehicles. The system simulations are carried out within Matlab/Simulink and are used throughout the life cycle of a Volvo product, from concept design phase to sales, aftermarket & maintenance. The simulation platform consists of both component and plant modeling to control and software in loop. 
You will in addition perform various simulation tasks, where we are expected to deliver & support too many ongoing projects and initiatives, structured reporting, analysis & conclusions of the simulation results are part of your role. 
In addition, the team is working with model development for physical test rigs & towards HIL rigs. Furthermore, you will work to strengthen our virtual portfolio with digital twins where we combine system simulation models with data & machine learning to ultimately enable digital services for our customers and stakeholders.
We as a team will not solve all of this by ourselves, hence you will have close cross-functional collaboration with colleagues from different parts of Electromobility and the Volvo Group.
Who are you? 
We believe that to be successful in the position, you are a team player with a collaborative mindset, and you have strong experience in the simulation domain from previous positions. You have automotive or electrical system development experience working in cross-functional teams. You have a willingness to learn and take more responsibility with a can-do attitude.

Requirements:  
•    Master of Science in engineering. 
•    5+ years' experience in automotive system simulation or equivalent.
•    Experience in data-driven model development.
•    Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink.
•    Proficiency in Python. 
•    Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
